Hostel bunk beds are quoted by their deck configuration rather than by a single overall dimension. Room size and ceiling height usually decide which configuration is appropriate, so those are the details worth having ready before an enquiry.

Two different designs
The arched safety-rail design has an upper-deck safety rail and an access ladder. The full-enclosure design encloses the upper deck more fully, with a guard rail running the length of the bed. Both are two-tier mild steel beds; the choice is about the level of enclosure the institution wants.
